READY Tours are designed to educate, orient, and support you as you prepare for your refugee hearing. Virtual Tours are available for free in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge-Guelph region and Montreal.

READY Tours give refugee claimants and service providers a chance to:

  • Learn how to prepare for your hearing and find out about virtual, in-person, and videoconference hearings
  • Hear from a staff person of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada – Refugee Protection Division (IRB-RPD)
  • Learn the order of events on the day of your hearing
  • Learn who might participate in a refugee hearing
  • Learn important concepts about refugee law and determination
  • Have a chance to ask questions about the process

Important! READY Tours do not replace good legal advice. Contact a lawyer to help you with your refugee claim.
